We started Côte Dorée because we were tired of the same two options.
Dress too young and feel uncomfortable. Or dress "appropriately" and feel invisible.
Neither felt right. Because neither was right.
Côte Dorée was built for the woman in between — the one who has spent years figuring out exactly what she likes, and now simply wants clothes that keep up with her. She travels. She has opinions. She knows the difference between effortless and cheap. She’s done compromising on fit, fabric, and how she feels when she walks into a room.
We designed this collection with her in mind from the very first sketch.
What that looks like in practice
Every piece is chosen around one question: will she reach for this again?
That means lengths that give real coverage without adding bulk. Sleeves that sit comfortably at the shoulder. Fabrics that breathe in summer heat instead of trapping it. Silhouettes that drape rather than cling — that move with a real body instead of against it.
It also means honesty about fit. We tell you how our model is dressed, what size she’s wearing, and how the fabric behaves — because the gap between a photo and a doorstep is where trust is won or lost.
The name
Côte Dorée — the golden coast. The feeling of a warm late afternoon, a glass of something cold, a dress you put on without thinking that somehow looks exactly right. That unhurried confidence that comes not from trying harder, but from knowing yourself well enough to stop trying so hard.
That’s the feeling we design for.
A few things we believe
Comfort and beauty are not opposites. A dress can give you coverage and look stunning. Natural fabrics feel better, wear better, and hold their shape longer. A piece that truly fits is worth more than ten that merely cover.
And we believe every woman deserves to feel genuinely beautiful in what she wears — not just presentable. Not just fine. Beautiful.
